The entire process involves physical processing with no chemical additives. Optimized equipment design minimizes particle damage, ensuring that core nutrients such as oil, fat, and protein in cyperus esculentus remain at a retention rate of ≥97%. The enclosed equipment design coupled with a temperature-control system keeps dust emissions below 0.08%, meeting stringent environmental protection standards and ensuring a clean workshop environment.

Cleaning and Sorting Process Description:
1. Vibrating Screen Cleaning: After initial cleaning and drying, the jatropha raw material enters the vibrating screen. Through the vibration of the screen mesh, larger impurities such as straw and soil clumps are preliminarily separated, along with some light impurities and fine debris, reducing the burden on subsequent processing. 
2. Stone Removal: Utilizing a stone remover, stones mixed with the oilseed are separated based on density differences from the oilseed, preventing equipment damage during subsequent processing.
3. Density Grading: Based on density variations among oilseed particles, plump seeds are separated from shriveled grains, moldy kernels, sheep dung pellets, and light impurities, enhancing the overall quality of the oilseed. 
4. Color Sorting: Color sorters further screen out foreign grains, moldy seeds, sheep dung pellets, and other impurities based on color variation and shape characteristics, thereby enhancing product purity. 
5. Finished Product Grading: Cleaned and selected oilseed rape kernels undergo grading through a classification screen. Three quality grades are established, with graded kernels directed to corresponding temporary storage bins. Each grade can be processed separately for hulling as needed.
