The buckwheat hulling machine and the flexible polishing machine are linked in a dual-operation system. Parameters have been optimized specifically for the hard shell characteristics of tartary buckwheat, achieving a total hulling rate of ≥96% and a breakage rate of ≤2.5%. This addresses the common challenges faced by conventional equipment—such as "incomplete hulling" and "damage to the endosperm"—and ensures the integrity of the tea particles.

Multi-stage purification and refining for high purity.

“High-definition vibrating screen + stone-removal machine + selective sorting machine + pit-eye selective sorting machine + gravity-friction separator + two-stage cyclone husk remover + two-stage color sorter”—a seven-stage purification process that achieves a total impurity removal rate of ≥99.8%, with a finished product purity of ≥99.6%. The product is free of shell fragments, mold, and any impurities, meeting the highest standards for premium tea-making raw materials.

Gentle maturation enhances aroma, delivering both superior nutrition and fragrance.

The combination of high-temperature, short-duration sterilization in a steaming machine and low-temperature drying in a roasting machine not only eliminates harmful microorganisms (with a sterilization rate ≥99.9%) but also activates flavonoid nutrients (with a retention rate ≥95%). At the same time, this process enhances the complex aroma, effectively addressing the issues of “strong, raw tartness” and “insufficient aroma,” making it perfectly suited to meet the flavor requirements of tea beverages.

Accurate grading, uniform condition.

The nest-eye sorting machine + flat rotary screen + double-chamber grading screen provide three-stage grading, precisely controlling the particle size of the finished product (with the proportion of 2.0–2.2 mm accounting for ≥97%); the two-stage color sorter ensures uniform coloration (uniformity ≥99.3%), resulting in evenly shaped particles and consistent color. This guarantees even heat distribution during brewing and stable flavor release.

Automate stable production, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.

The entire process—from purification and hulling to maturation, grading, and packaging—is fully automated and interconnected. Flow weighing combined with buffer bin flow control ensures batch consistency of ≥98.5%. Undehulled particles are returned for re-hulling, and broken grains can be recycled for processing into buckwheat tea powder. The overall raw material utilization rate reaches ≥98%, with a daily processing capacity ranging from 50 to 200 tons, significantly reducing the need for manual intervention.

Safe and environmentally friendly, compliant with tea-making standards.

The entire process involves physical processing with no chemical additives. The finished product complies with the national food safety standards GB 7101-2021, “National Food Safety Standard for Beverages” and “Alternative Teas.” Equipped with a two-stage cyclonic skin removal system and a closed-grade separation device, the dust leakage rate is ≤0.08%, meeting environmental protection requirements and ensuring a clean workshop environment.

By exploiting differences in particle size, specific gravity, airflow adaptability, color variations, and material differences between the shell (hard), seed coat (thin and brittle), and endosperm (flexible). Through comprehensive physical processing, it achieves “complete impurity removal, shell separation, aroma enhancement through maturation, and uniform final particle size.” Chemical-free throughout, with strict control over hulling intensity and roasting temperature, ensuring a hulling rate ≥96%, damage rate ≤2.5%, and finished product purity ≥99.6%. This process fully preserves core nutrients, yielding buckwheat raw material suitable for tea production.
