Dedicated adaptation for peeling, low damage during shelling.

The Huayu Wantong 4-stage sand roller peeling machine features a gradient design, achieving a hulling rate of ≥99% and a breakage rate of ≤2%. This significantly surpasses the performance of conventional 2-stage peeling equipment (hulling rate of 92%-95%, breakage rate of 5%-7%), thereby ensuring the integrity of the finished granules.

Fleece-free cleaning, excellent basic condition.

The combination of a threshing machine, a brushing machine, and a circulating air separator achieves a down removal rate of ≥95% and a light impurity removal rate of ≥99.5%, effectively addressing the issue of rough finished products and easy sticking caused by residual down in conventional production lines.

Water-mist polishing enhances quality and delivers high gloss.

The innovative “trace water mist + flexible polishing” process delivers finished products with a brightness of ≥94%, boasting a glossy, smooth finish. Compared to conventional dry polishing, this process offers dual improvements in both product appearance and environmental friendliness, making it ideal for high-end consumer applications.

Purification and refining, high purity

A five-stage purification process—comprising a magnetic separator, a vibrating screen, a destoner, a circulating air classifier, and a color sorter—achieves removal rates of ≥99.5% for various impurities, magnetic metals, and defective particles. The purity of the finished product is ≥99.6%, with no defects whatsoever.

Dual Excellence in Safety and Nutrition

Made entirely through physical processing with no chemical additives and no residual extra moisture (mist usage ≤1%). The core nutrients—such as barley β-glucan and dietary fiber—are retained at a rate of ≥96%, meeting high-end food processing standards.

Scaled adaptation, cost reduction and efficiency improvement

Full-process automated integration, stable flow and material control plus a peeling-backflow design ensure batch production consistency of ≥98.5%, with daily processing capacity ranging from 50 to 500 tons. Unpeeled particles are returned for re-peeling, and broken grains can be recycled for use in barley flour and meal replacement product manufacturing, achieving a comprehensive raw material utilization rate of ≥98%.

This production line centers on “flow control and material stabilization + multi-stage purification and impurity removal + dedicated 4-stage dehulling + polishing for quality enhancement.” Addressing the characteristics of barley—its “hard, hairy husk and fragile endosperm”—it leverages designated equipment like Huayu Wantong's 4-stage sand roller dehulling machine for progressive synergy. By exploiting differences in particle size, specific gravity, friction coefficients, color, magnetic properties, and material differences between husk and endosperm. Through comprehensive physical processing, it achieves “complete impurity removal, deep husk separation, and uniformly polished, glossy finished grains.” Entirely chemical-free, it guarantees ≥99% dehulling rate, ≤2% breakage rate, and ≥99.6% purity while fully preserving core nutrients.
