Lushan Win Tone Engineering Technology Co., Ltd is undertaking the construction of a 240-ton-per-day sorghum production line for Dongguan Yuangu Xiang.

Lushan Win Tone Engineering Technology Co., Ltd has successfully undertaken the construction of a 240-ton-per-day comprehensive sorghum processing production line for Dongguan Yuangu Xiang Food Technology Co., Ltd. As an upgraded, in-depth collaboration project between Lushan Win Tone Engineering Technology Co., Ltd and Yuangu Xiang, this project—featuring scaled integrated processes, intelligently adapted equipment, and end-to-end services—has streamlined the entire value chain—from raw materials to processing and finished products for the sorghum processing industry in South China, showcasing the robust strength of Chinese grain-processing equipment in the field of deep processing of bulk coarse grains.

As a food-processing and logistics hub in South China, Dongguan has become one of the core gathering places for the deep-processing industry of miscellaneous grains in China, thanks to its well-established industrial chain support system, vast consumer market, and convenient cross-border channels. In recent years, demand for sorghum products has continued to expand—widely used not only in baijiu brewing and feed processing but also gradually entering the health-food sector. As a result, the market’s need for large-scale, standardized sorghum-processing equipment has become increasingly urgent. Yuan Gu Xiang, a well-known local food enterprise in Dongguan with many years of expertise in miscellaneous-grain processing, has teamed up with Hua Yu Wan Tong this time to build a high-capacity sorghum-processing line, aiming to seize a leading position in the South China sorghum-processing market. Leveraging nearly three decades of experience in R&D of miscellaneous-grain processing equipment and having undertaken more than 100 large-scale production-line projects, Hua Yu Wan Tong has emerged as the project’s key contractor, providing tailor-made solutions that perfectly match the characteristics of sorghum and the enterprise’s production capacity requirements.

This 240-ton-per-day integrated sorghum processing line was developed by Lushan Win Tone Engineering Technology Co., Ltd specifically to address the characteristics of sorghum—such as its hard grain and complex processing procedures. The line integrates more than ten core patented technologies and features a fully automated control system that combines “intelligent sorting + precise hulling + graded processing.” It covers the entire process—from sorghum cleaning and stone removal to hulling, crushing, grinding, grading, finished-product storage, and byproduct recovery—and can flexibly produce a variety of products, including sorghum rice, sorghum flour, and crushed sorghum. With just 6 to 8 operators, the line can run continuously for 24 hours, reducing labor costs by over 70% compared to traditional segmented processing equipment and increasing overall production efficiency by four times. Addressing the challenges of difficult hulling and high purity requirements for finished products, the line is equipped with a custom-designed YGL-25 sorghum-specific hulling unit and graded grinding equipment developed by Lushan Win Tone Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. The hulling rate remains stable at over 98.5%, the impurity content in the finished product is below 0.2%, and the crushing rate is kept within 1.5%. This ensures that the line meets the stringent raw-material requirements of high-end brewing and food processing while also being well-suited for large-scale feed production, thus enabling the full-value utilization of sorghum.

As a high-tech enterprise integrating engineering design, R&D, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and after-sales maintenance services, Lushan Win Tone Engineering Technology Co., Ltd leverages the Henan Province Corn and Coarse Grain Complete Engineering Technology Research Center to establish a comprehensive R&D and service system for large-scale coarse grain processing equipment. The company holds 32 national patents, and its equipment has been widely adopted in major coarse grain-producing regions across China as well as in over 40 countries and regions overseas. In the current Dongguan project, Lushan Win Tone Engineering Technology Co., Ltd has assembled a dedicated South China service team to provide end-to-end coordination—including equipment R&D and manufacturing, long-distance transportation adaptation, site layout optimization, installation and commissioning, and customized technical training—overcoming challenges such as the complexity of assembling high-capacity equipment and the difficulty of process debugging. This ensured that the production line was completed and put into operation within 50 days, efficiently meeting the demand for scaled production from Yuangu Xiang.

Currently, the deep-processing industry for coarse grains in South China is accelerating its transformation toward large-scale, integrated, and high-value production. As a versatile coarse grain with diverse applications, sorghum holds tremendous market potential. The successful commissioning of Lushan Win Tone Engineering Technology Co., Ltd’s 240-ton-per-day sorghum processing line not only sets a new benchmark for sorghum-processing capacity in South China but also establishes a model for large-scale sorghum processing that embodies “high efficiency and intelligence, environmental friendliness, and multi-purpose adaptability.” Looking ahead, Lushan Win Tone Engineering Technology Co., Ltd will continue to deepen its expertise in coarse-grain processing equipment, tailoring its R&D efforts to the specific industrial characteristics of different regions and the unique needs of enterprises. We will keep iterating and developing even more competitive integrated solutions, empowering the food-processing industry with superior equipment and services to enhance quality and efficiency, and putting into practice our development philosophy of “winning the world with products and reaching the future through service.”
